Alysa (she/her) is a former metro Detroit journalist who managed to discern a call to ministry over the shouts of her two boys — Theo, 7 and Milo, 3.5. In fits and starts, she’s working her way through seminary in the distance learning program at Luther. She’s passionate about social justice — a calling that started while working in journalism and has been strengthened through her work in the church. She’s already getting into the groove of kitchen work at FedUp and excited for what her time in this ministry will look like.
