Happy New Year from Our Team!
Our 2021 Impact

Our 2021 Impact

THANK YOU!

Rejoice with us, friends. FedUp served over 4,000 meals in 2021! This would not have been possible without every single one of you. We are so grateful for your support - financial, physical, and prayerful. We are able to impact our community because of you. Thanks be to God!

2022 Leadership Retreat

We Welcome Your Prayers

Our leadership team - Pastor/Mission Developer, First Lady, Board of Directors, and MSW interns - gathers this weekend both virtually and in person to celebrate the accomplishments of last year and plan the year ahead. Your thoughts, prayers, and positive vibes are welcome as we gather during this sacred time. We ask specifically that our health is protected, our minds are sharp, and our conversations are holy and inspired as we carry out the purpose of FedUp Ministries during the next calendar year.

January Volunteer Opportunities

These days we are serving meals every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. View our SignUp Genius and get involved with us!

Subscribe to FedUp's Google Calendar to see the latest updates to our schedule.

Don't miss our monthly Volunteer Meeting on Tuesday, January 25 at 7:30pm. All participants will receive the latest information coming out of our leadership retreat. We'll also be talking more about our in person volunteer trainings which were supposed to take place this month but will now happen just as soon as the latest surge in COVID cases begins to wane. Join our monthly Volunteer Meeting on Zoom every last Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm. The Zoom link will remain the same throughout 2022. Click here to join the meeting.

Wanting to volunteer but need to be alone or with a small number of folks who make you feel safe during COVID? We're in need of volunteers to do some deep cleaning and inventory in our kitchens (both the commissary and the truck). Reply to this email and schedule a time to come in and serve in a way that helps you feel as safe as possible!

Trainings to look forward to: De-escalation and Alternatives to Calling the Police, Mental Health First Aid, Administering Narcan, Kitchen and Food Truck Procedures, ServSafe Certification Opportunities

Meet Our New Interns part 1 - Dara

FedUp Partners with UM's School of Social Work

I’m Dara (dare-uh, she/they). I am currently an MSW student at the University of Michigan on a community change pathway. Some of my hobbies are knitting, drawing, and singing! I am super excited to be joining the FedUp team and working alongside folx committed to making change. While in this position, I am hoping to learn what is necessary to build a sustainable organization from relationships among stakeholders to fund development. I am bringing with me a passion to provide the resources folx need to lead their own change. Let's make some change!

Meet Our New Interns part 2- Brittany

FedUp Partners with UM's School of Social Work

Hi everyone! I'm Brittany (pronouns are she/her) and I am one of FedUp’s new interns from the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work. I am currently working towards my MSW with a concentration in Community Change, and plan to graduate in December 2022. After graduating, I hope to do more macro work, specifically within the Asian Pacific Islander community. In my free time, I love to listen to music, play video games, and build lego sets (I just completed the Architecture Skylines: Tokyo edition and it looks awesome). I am super excited to work with FedUp this year! Although I will be mostly remote, please don’t hesitate to say hi if you see me around.
