TOMORROW 3/19 from 9am-1pm at Zion Lutheran Church
If you’ve ever wondered how to respond to and approach someone who is in distress, our Community Safety Workshop is for you! We will learn about de-escalation tactics, alternatives to calling the police, and ways to keep yourself safe when you intervene in a crisis. This workshop is led by Sheri Wander of Peace House Ypsi and the Day Time Warming Center - Washtenaw County. The training will take place at Zion Lutheran Church (1501 W Liberty St, Ann Arbor 48103) downstairs in Piper Hall from 9am to 1pm this Saturday, March 19. FedUp will serve lunch and childcare is available at no charge.
