Chris (she/her) has been working in the apparel industry for more than 30 years, for the past eight years have held a position in color product development with a local Dearborn manufacturer. Her personal health needed a jumpstart in 2014, that was the time when she and her wife (Lisa) became vegan/plantbased. With health and sustainability in mind she felt that the small steps she made could be a change for the earth. Preparing nutritious, delicious, and balanced meals has been her lifelong passion.
Chris cares deeply for those who are mentally and physically challenged, discriminated, and/or segregated against by people/communities. Addressing community food insecurity, having empathy and leading with prayer have been her calling for some time. When she met Pastor Anna and Fedup, she knew she had found an organization with like principles and beliefs. She's excited to be part of the FedUp board, its mission, building skills, sharing insight and creating meaningful and lasting change in local communities.

All staff currently work with FedUp part-time. Our kitchen operates every Monday-Thursday morning with sporadic afternoon, evening, and weekend events. All staff are off and our kitchen is closed every Friday.
