Hi, I'm Kat (she/her) and I'm excited to join the FedUp Ministries team! I'm currently pursuing my MSW degree at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, specializing in global and political advocacy. Originally from Oklahoma, I moved to Michigan in 2018 and quickly discovered my passion for macro social work during my time at Ferris State University, where I earned my BSW. My experience in community organizing and canvassing has provided me with a strong foundation to contribute to FedUp's mission of promoting equity and empowerment. I'm deeply inspired by the organization's values and eager to make a meaningful impact. When I'm not immersed in social work, I love spending time with my adorable pittie and pursuing my passions for skateboarding, boxing, and trail biking.
