Tom McFadden

Tom McFadden is a canidate for the Licensed Lay Minister program in the Evangelical Luthern Church in America. He is pleased to be able to serve others through Fed Up Ministries as a part of his practicum. Tom is passionate about social justice through education, advocacy, and practical solutions. Throughout his life, Tom has been involved in many social justice initiatives including Kairos (prison ministry), CROP Walk (food insecurity), and he was a founding board member of the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Tom and his wife, Heidi, have lived in Washtenam County for over 30 years and raised their two children here. He is a longtime member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor, MI. Outside of his lay ministry work, Tom enjoys singing in his church choir, playing percussion, gardening, photography, and spoiling his grandchildren.
